Spring Break
Author(s):
Tim Kelly
School's out! Teenager Tammy Carson decides she hasn't seen anything of life. She convinces some friends that they should experience Spring Break in Palm Springs, California -- the time when thousands of high school and college students take over the town. The parents of Tammy and her friends think the girls are in Hannibal, Missouri, attending the annual Tom Sawyer Festival. Every room in town is taken, so the girls have to share quarters with the members of a haughty sorority from Upper Beverly Hills. It's a rough beginning -- especially when a weird truck breaks down outside the guest house, and the owner's nephew sneaks party animals into the cellar. Toss in a couple of little old ladies from Pasadena, a missing heiress the police suspect has been kidnaped by Tammy, a lady killer by the name of Scott St. Ives who wears a cologne called "Suffer," a winning lottery ticket, a curfew, an earthquake, rock and roll and a 5,000-year-old man who comes to life. You've got the recipe for a farce that's filled with action, entertainment and tickles the funny bone.
